If you have already seen the photos of the apartment, surely you will have noticed one of its most outstanding qualities; a private terrace with panoramic views of the city. In the afternoon, if you go up before sunset, you will be able to take advantage of the last rays, and cool off with a warm water shower, while contemplating the horizon. On clear days and nights, you can see the island of Gran Canaria, and usually the weather is so nice that it will rarely prevent you from enjoying an evening under the stars.

This ideal climate invites you to enjoy it day and night, in its numerous terraces (Avenida de Anaga, Calle de La Noria, Municipal Market "Nuestra Señora de África"), less than 1 km away, the popular weekly flea market, on Sundays in la mañana, (500 m.), or its long and flat port avenue, ideal for relaxing walks and going from one end to the other, or practicing any sport in the open air.

If you walk the avenue in a southwesterly direction, you will arrive at the Palmetum, which claims to be the largest collection of palm trees in Europe, or the Auditorio de Tenerife (architect Calatrava), which is just over 1 km away.

If you follow it in a northwesterly direction, you will arrive at the town of San Andrés and Las Teresitas beach, at a distance of about 9 km, from where you can head towards El Bailadero, and reach the beaches of Taganana (Guanche name, from translation "zone surrounded by mountains"), which is a Biosphere Reserve of great beauty and natural value.

On the contrary, if you continue in the direction of Igueste de San Andres, you will arrive at the town of the same name, and you will pass by the viewpoint with views of Las Teresitas, from where you will see a panoramic view of the beach, common on social networks.

You will also pass by Las Gaviotas beach, which, like those of Taganana, all have black sand, like most of those on the island.

If you can choose, it is advisable to visit them during the week, due to the large influx of people on the weekend.

The apartment is located in the center of the city, and you have all the services you may need during your stay, about 5 to 10 minutes on foot, such as taxis, paid parking, supermarkets, or the tram stop, 50 meters from the door of the apartment. Getting on it in the direction of the interchange station, you can continue your bus trip to almost any point on the island.

Conversely, if you come by bus from any airport or area of ​​the island, you can take the tram at the interchange to get to the apartment. You only have to look at the tower of the Church of La Concepción, and from the moment you see it, you will know where you have to get off. You can also continue to the last stop on the line (45 minutes), and you will arrive at San Cristóbal de La Laguna, a world heritage city, whose visit is highly recommended.

As for paid parking, there are three in the area, which offer vouchers for 24 or more hours, for less than 10 euros per day. In addition, there is free parking on the street (those with a broken white line).

On weekends you have to pay attention to the signage, because there are a multitude of parking lots that are canceled during Saturday night (on Bravo Murillo avenue). The reason is the celebration of the "Rastro", an open-air market, of all kinds of products, new and second-hand, which opens every Sunday morning, and is located less than 500 meters away.

The church of La Concepción stands out in the landscape of the city. It is built on the exact spot where the first church on the island was erected. In front of the apartment you can see a stone cross, replacing an original wooden cross, which is inside the church.

The place was chosen symbolically, to mark the conquest of Tenerife, the last of the Canaries to fall to the conquerors (1494-1496 AD).

The west face of the tower marks the beginning of La Noria street, whose name also usually identifies the surrounding neighborhood. Throughout its route, you will see an infinite number of terraces and restaurants, where you can enjoy a multitude of dishes from the most varied origins.

In the previous months and during February, you can listen to the musical rhythms of the Murgas, musical groups that are an important part of the Carnival of Tenerife, and they rehearse in the nearby venues, to appear in the many contests that make it up. The town of Caletillas and Candelaria has been gradually gaining fame, being currently one of the most sought after, both to reside and to spend vacations. It has a wide range of leisure and restaurant services, beach, nautical activities, etc.

In addition, it can be said that it is located in the center of the island, halfway between the local cities of La Laguna and Santa Cruz, or the more touristy ones, Playa de Las Américas, Arona or Costa Adeje. Regarding the north airport Los Rodeos, it is about 20 minutes by car, and about 30, from the south airport, or Reina Sofia.

The entrance and layout of the apartment are completely flat from the street, and the complex where it is located is fully adapted for people with limited mobility or wheelchairs, making it ideal for those who simply seek great ease of access and use.

If you need a wheelchair, or if yours exceeds the width of the doors, we will lend you one of an adapted size, you just have to ask for it. In addition, the bathroom is equipped with a shower tray with a handle, and a folding bar next to the toilet.

Arenitas Beach has its own parking in the complex's garage. For most of the year, there is free street parking nearby, especially on weekdays. There is a space for people with disabilities, about twelve meters from the entrance to the apartment, and the ground is flat between both points.

In case you have to park in the garage, there is enough space to park a medium-sized car, and go out in a wheelchair. The apartment can be accessed via the same vehicle entrance ramp, although since it is somewhat steep, it is more advisable to do so through the interior accesses of the complex.

In case you want to use a wheelchair around the rest of the town, or simply go to the beach, the best option once you are out of the apartment is to go out to the right, looking from the door, and follow the direction descending from the street. Next to the door of the apartment, once you pass the garage ramp, you will find an area for outdoor gymnastics, and some stairs that will take you directly to the beach, in just two minutes.

Continuing along the sidewalk, about 100 meters, you will pass through an area of ​​bars, where you can enjoy some nightlife after dinner. If you continue the journey in a wheelchair, pass in front of the bar area, on the same sidewalk, and when you turn right again, you will arrive at the maritime avenue, which is completely flat, and is adapted along its entire length, to the be equipped with ramps, and lack steps.

There is 600 Mb Wi-Fi, available throughout the apartment, cable TV (Orange) as well as multiple work surfaces, both inside and on the terraces, which make it an ideal place for teleworking.

The front terrace overlooks the pool and the community, and a portion of the sea. If the day is very clear, you will see the island of Gran Canaria, right in front of you. The sun illuminates it from dawn until noon, as it is oriented to the southeast.

It has an awning, a table with room for 4, and two hammocks from the apartment, in case you want to enjoy all of this without having to move. The pool is open all day, and every day of the year. You can access it on foot, directly by the stairs that leave the terrace, or leaving the apartment by the terrace that adjoins the sidewalk, entering again through the door of the complex, where you will find ramps that will take you directly to the pool and solarium.

The entrance terrace has a table with 4 chairs and a 4-seater corner. The sun shines on it from midday, just when it stops shining on the pool terrace, until sunset. It also has its own awning. Both terraces, in combination, have sun throughout the day, so if you need it, you can make use of the solar shower that receives the evening sun, on the corresponding terrace.

The apartment has three types of beds. Two in the bedroom, a bunk bed with two heights, and another double, 1.5 by 1.90. And the other, a sofa bed that is in the living room, which allows to have another environment separate from the bedroom, and that guests can spend the night in separate environments. If you need a travel cot, we also put it at your disposal.

The bedroom has a slatted blind, when closed, it does not let in light or insects, but allows the sea breeze to pass through, whose beating of the waves will be the only sound you will hear at night.

The glass doors of the living room, next to the sofa bed, are equipped with a mosquito net, so you can open them and enjoy a ventilated environment, even on the hottest night. As if that were not enough, both the bedroom and the living room have a fan.

Caletillas and Candelaria have a practically flat coastal promenade that runs alongside the beach. It is full of terraces and restaurants, with views of the sea. In Candelaria is the Basilica of Our Lady of Candelaria, a Catholic temple founded in 1959, and consecrated to the virgin of the same name, consecrated as the "Patroness of the Canary Islands", being the place where, according to tradition, the first apparition of the virgin to the Guanches, aboriginal inhabitants of the islands.

It is the end point of the coastal walk, in a southerly direction, and is about a 25-minute walk from the apartment. Once there, you will find yourself in the old town of Candelaria, built around the Plaza de la Basílica.

It can be accessed by car, or by a pedestrian street, full of terraces on both sides, and also in the square itself. On one of the sides, you will see a succession of sculptures in honor of some of the ancient Menceyes, or aboriginal kings who inhabited the islands.

As the TF 1 motorway passes nearby, there are several bus lines from the island company TITSA.

-In the Santa Cruz direction, the 122 connects with the "Intercambiador" station, in Santa Cruz, which is the main station on the island, and in turn, connects by tram with La Laguna, and by bus with the rest of the island. northern part of the island.

-In the opposite direction, the 111, connects with the southern airport, Reina Sofía, and with the Los Cristianos station, which is the main one in the southern zone. The duration of both journeys, and the frequency between each journey, lasts about 30 minutes, in both cases.

However, hours may change depending on the day of the week and the time.

Buses leave from both stations that cover practically the entire island, but in case you intend to visit it, it is much more advisable to do it by car.
